Pre-K Graudation

Ok guys, I am sorry it has been awhile; however, we have been extremely busy the last couple of months!  We have moved over 100 miles, enrolled in a new school district, and still continued to drive back and forth for Adrian to finish out pre-k with his graduating class (24 total days, but it actually ended up being between 10-11 days).  Anyways, my baby, not really a baby anymore has had his first graduation, cap/gown/tassel/and all! He is so ready to begin kindergarten this fall and to be able to ride the bus, I however, do not believe I am as ready as he is.  I am sure that I will be a sobbing mess the first day of school just like I was the weeks leading up to his graduation.  I will have to tell you guys this story, I did burst out into tears in the middle of Target, because I was attempting to find dress slacks, a button down shirt, and a tie to wear under his gown.  A lady looked at me and asked if I was alright, I just replied yes, it is just that my baby is graduating preschool.  She laughed and said that she had gone through the same thing.  I am actually surprised at how well I maintained my composer throughout the graduation process, I only burst out into tears (and an ugly cry at that) once during the 2 hours we were at the school.  Anyways, be prepared for more blogs to start pouring in, now that things are settling down, I plan to back track and post blogs accordingly that I have been stock-piling!

Here are a few picture below from his graduation, enjoy!

Obstacles in life...

Lately I have been thinking a lot about life, and the purpose of the obstacles placed within one's life. I always hear that God will not place you in any obstacle that you cannot overcome; however, I think to myself, perhaps He is challenging me to defeat the task and gain a new sense of being. Maybe this challenge is meant to be "too difficult" in order to test my devotion, faith, and love for Him. The reason why I have been inquiring about this topic is due to the continuous barrage of obstacles that I have ran into the last two years. It has almost made me lose hope and my positive outlook, but when listening to a sermon one Sunday morning, I felt as if He was speaking to me through the sermon. It spoke of keeping your ears open to allow Him into your soul and heart. Also, to change the direction of your life you have to change the "noise" around you. I have recently begun this process, and I can say that I am regaining my faith and strength to lead a happy life where truly no obstacle can defeat me. I am excited to see where this newly paved road take me as the year progresses!
